PURPOSE
Navchetna Society is an 80G & 12A certified NGO, focusing on women empowerment & child welfare in rural Uttarakhand, India. Through our work, we aspire to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part towards changing the lives of marginalized communities in Uttarakhand.

Lt. Sushma Bisht Mathur, Founder & President of Navchetna, was awarded the 100 Women Achievers Award by the President of India, Sri. Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Jan 2016.
